Why I’m Running

A smiling man in a gray plaid suit and light blue shirt posing against a white background.

“I’m a lifelong resident of Duchesne County, and I love rural Utah and the values that define us—hard work, faith, family, and self-reliance. I’m running to represent these values at the state level and deliver common-sense solutions to the various issues we face as a district. I will work to ensure that our area’s unique challenges are at the forefront of policy decisions and lawmaking. My priorities are economic stability and growth, improving infrastructure, Education, protecting our farmers, ranchers, and land use, fiscal responsibility, and bringing an unprecedented level of transparency to state governance.”

Three landscape photographs of natural scenes. The first shows a mountainous area with a calm lake mirror reflecting trees and a mountain under a cloudy sky. The second depicts a desert with a train on a track running through arid, rocky terrain. The third features hoodoos, unique rock formations, in a red canyon with layered cliffs and a cloudy sky.
